En conclusión la Santa Fe es un vehiculo ideal para viajes de largo aliento por carretera. La cabina, cómoda y espaciosa, tiene asientos traseros de inclinación regulable, detalle poco común en este formato.
Aunque no tiene caja reductora, la Santa Fe tiene buena capacidad off-road. Su altura libre es de 20.1 cm., con un ángulo de entrada (o ataque) es de 25°, y el de salida de 22.3°. Clasificando todos estos atributos de la Nueva Santa Fe, y como la prensa norteamericana que esta empezando a utilizar el termino CUV (croccover utility vehicule), para referirse a vehículos como la Santa Fe.
Esta denominación, poco difundida en nuestro medio, se aplica a modelos que emplean una plataforma de sedán como punto de partida para fabricar una camioneta tipo SUV (Sport Utility Vehicule).
Entre las CUVs emblemáticas están la Audi Allroad, Honda Pilot y Volvo XC7.
